中国十大驰名商标—北极星
Yantai Polaris State-holding Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called Yantai
Polaris), with the main products of mechanical clocks, quartz clocks,
naval vessel clocks and area timing system, etc., is one of the National
Largest and First-Grade Enterprises and owns the right of trademark
“POLARIS”.
Yantai Polaris is the earliest enterprise that won the National
Quality Management Award in the same line in China. It’s sales and
production amount of mechanical clocks is 60% of the total amount
of the nation. It also acquired the Award for Top Quality many times
in and out of China.
Polaris Technical Development Center was in the mother batch of
the National Enterprise Technical Center. In recent years, it has
developed many new products in which 11 items reached the International
advanced level and 8 items reached national ones. Among the new products,
5 items obtained Ministry and Province Awards, and 5 gained Appearance
Innovation Award on Chinese International Timepiece Show. In 2005,
with the highest score within Chinese clock line, Polaris was chose
as “CHINA TOP BRAND”.
Polaris was registered in Madrid International Organization in 1991
which covers 30 classes for product and 8 classes for service.
Yantai Polaris is the Star Enterprise of Shandong Province by owning
15 items of patent. It’s also a star in China Timepiece because it
is the only one who won the name of the “CHINA TEN WELL-KNOWN TRADEMARK”
among the domestic timepiece line.
With a ninety years history, Polaris is named as the exported famous
brand cultivated and developed by Ministry of Business in 2005 to
2006. Polaris products, with annual exporting value amount more than
USD17 million, have been exported to more than one hundred countries
since 1930s’.

北极星时钟具有九十年的生产历史，产品自20世纪30年代开始出口东南亚各国，目前已扩大出口到130个国家和地区，年出口创汇保持1700多万美元，2005年被商务部认定为2005-2006年度重点培育和发展的出口名牌。

北极星技术开发中心被确认为首批国家级企业技术中心。近年来研制成功国家级新产品8项，达到国际同类产品先进水平11项，获得省、部级科技进步奖5项，获中国国际钟表展览会奖5项。
北极星商标1991年进行马德里商标国际注册，并进行了包括30个产品类和8个服务类的全方位商标注册。公司获专利15项，北极星企业获中国专利山东明星企业。
“北极星”商标在全国钟表行业中唯一获得首批“中国十大驰名商标”称号，堪称为中国钟表之星。
